Gujarati Muslim Association of California (GMAC) wishes you and your family a blessed Ramadan. May Allah (swt) accept your fasting, besides fasting, another pillar of Islam is a Zakat which is an obligatory part of charity. Allah (swt) has reminded us several times in the Quran to perform Salah and pay Zakat (2:43). The word Zakat means purity and implies purifying the savings and overcoming greed for material possessions. GMAC is collecting Zakat donations and distributing money to rightful people and organizations in Gujarat State of India.

Partial Scholarships to needy Medical Students in Gujarat,

We humbly request you to join us in our humanitarian program by giving your Zakat money to GMAC. Please share this request with your relatives and friends. Your Zakat money will be distributed with greatest care for your designated activities in Gujarat and in USA. You can also give a Fidya donation which is for when you cannot fast and/or not able to make up for the fast (elderly, terminally ill, pregnant, etc.) We request you to keep GMAC workers in your Dua during this blessed month of Ramadan.
